Position Overview:
Our client, a leader in innovative automation solutions, is seeking an Account Manager to expand their presence in the TOLA region (Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana). This role is ideal for a driven professional with expertise in channel management and OEM sales who thrives in a nearly greenfield territory with significant growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Management & OEM Sales: Develop relationships with distributors and OEM accounts, train partners, and manage ongoing sales opportunities.
- Territory Growth: Strategically expand business in an underdeveloped region with vast potential.
- Business Development: Bring on new distributors, support existing ones, and directly manage key OEM accounts.
- Customer Support: Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, ensuring seamless integration of their products into customer systems.
- Travel: Approximately 50% travel throughout the region, including Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in channel management or OEM sales, preferably in automation, instrumentation, or related fields.
- Strong technical background with an ability to understand and communicate technical solutions.
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing a multi-state territory independently.
- Experience working with distributors or rep companies is highly desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for candidates with substantial relevant experience.
