Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading provider of secure access solutions specializing in embeddable RFID reader modules, is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow their presence in the Industrial Automation and Material Handling OEM markets. This role will focus on building strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and driving adoption of RFID-based secure access solutions across key industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies for growth within the OEM hardware market.
- Conduct market research to identify new OEM hardware partners and opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads through industry events, networking, and direct outreach.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM decision-makers.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and speaking engagements.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing visibility and reputation in the Industrial & Manufacturing space.
- Partner with product development, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in business development or sales within the OEM hardware industry.
- Proven ability to drive new business and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
- Willingness to travel (50%+), including international travel.
Details:
- Location: Remote (50% Travel)
- Salary: $110-125k, OTE $165-175k
