Sales Representative – Gourmet Confections

Location: Remote (Travel Required)

 

Compensation: $100K+ Base Salary + Strong Commission structure

The Opportunity:

A well-established and growing gourmet confections manufacturer is seeking a self-motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to help expand their footprint in C-stores, grocery chains, and private-label partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on networking, trade shows, and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
  • Attend and represent the company at 16-20 trade shows per year, engaging potential clients and following up on leads.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and onboarding new customers.
  • Work closely with retailers, distributors, and private-label partners to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales operations, social media outreach, and lead generation efforts.
  • Travel as needed, including trade show attendance and occasional in-person client meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

-Sales Experience – Ideally in the food, confectionery, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

-Trade Show Expertise – Ability to network and sell effectively in trade show environments.

-Self-Starter Mentality – Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships.

-Strong Communication Skills – Excellent follow-up, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

-Industry Connections – Experience selling to C-store, retailers, grocery chains, distributors, or private-label buyers is a plus.

 

Compensation & Perks:
