Product Manager

Our client, a privately held leader in industrial telemetry and automation, is seeking a Product Manager to oversee their wireless transmitters, sensors, and monitoring solutions. This company serves industries such as oil & gas, water/wastewater, industrial automation, agriculture, environmental monitoring, and utilities, providing innovative wireless monitoring solutions to critical infrastructure sectors.

This is a REMOTE position

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a three-year product roadmap aligned with market trends and customer needs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on telemetry and wireless instrumentation, providing technical guidance to sales teams and customers.
• Conduct market research and voice of customer (VOC) analysis to inform product strategy.
• Manage the creation of technical content, including application notes, website content, and product documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop creative product messaging and support digital campaigns.
• Provide internal and external training, including product presentations and webinars.
• Act as a liaison between customers, R&D, and product teams, ensuring customer needs are met in product development.
• Oversee product approvals for different countries and regulatory areas.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years industrial automation experience specializing in instrumentation.
• Strong technical knowledge of physical process measurement and telemetry systems.
• Experience developing technical content and application notes.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in sales training and customer support.
• Creative thinker who enjoys content creation and product storytelling.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
