Technical Sales Representative

Our client, a known leader in the manufacturing of synthetic diamonds and other abrasive products, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and results-driven in order to drive growth in the PCD and PCBN tools sector. The candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services, while building strong relationships with clients. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to effectively communicate product benefits and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market share in the PCD or PCBN tools sector
- Market Expansion: Identify and explore new business opportunities in both existing and new markets, focusing on industries that require mass production and high-precision tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the major cutting tool industry (preferable with a focus on PCD and PCBN tools)
- Must be located in Illinois, preferably Chicagoland area
